himself before deciding the former football coach's prison sentence. sandusky's lawyers say he will address the judge at today's sentencing hearing and assert his innocence. during his sensational trial for serial child sexual abuse, prosecutors said the former football coach and founder of the second mile charity used his fame in the community to attract victims. yesterday, sandusky spoke a penn state radio station. he says he has been wrongfully convicted and he hopes some good will come out of all of this. >> some vulnerable children would could be abused my not be as a result of all the publicity. that would be nice but i'm not sure about it. i would cherish the opportunity to become a candle for others as they have been a light for me. they can take away my life. they can make me out as a monster. they can treat me as a among sister but they can't take away my heart n my heart, i know i did not do these alleged disgusting acts. >> reporter: sandusky only refers to his victims as accusers and claims he lost the

mitt romney campaigns in iowa. george allen and tim kaine squared off in their second debate in the race for the u.s. senate. the candidates went at it last night in richmond. they covered a wide range of topics. allen again tried to portray kaine as a would-be tax liker. kaine repeatedly cited deficits. >> i think cain won because allen didn't answer some questions about privatizing social security, didn't whether he or the trentt with one statement, repeated it over again that allen said in the senate that i want to ram their soft teeth down their whiney throats. that isn't the bipartisan patina that you want. >> the two have been running

neck and neck for nearly two years but kaine appears to have tan the lead in recent polls. jerry sandusky is speaking out proclaimings he was innocent and was given atrial based on pawls accusations denying he committed any of the, quote, disgusting acts. he will be sentenced later on today in a pennsylvania courthouse. melanie alnwick is live in the fox 5 control room with more. >> reporter: legal experts say, given the nature of the charges and the number of the crimes, that jerry sandusky is likely to spend the rest of his life in prison. still, he is not going to jail without a fight. former penn state assistant football coach jerry sandusky speaking out from his jail cell ahead of these his sentencing on 45 counts of child sexual abuse. >> they can take away my life, make me out as a monster, they can treat me as a monster but they can't take away my heart. in my heart, i know i did not do these alleged disgusting acts. >> reporter: in june, sandusky was convicted of abusing 10

an update now to a story we first brought you at this same time yesterday. montgomery county police shot a man on woodland drive in silver spring after a brief standoff. the man later died. he was identified as tracy woodfor. he called 911 and told dispatchers he had a gun and wanted to die. officers northed with him for almost two hours before they say he came at them with a gun. that is when they shot him. police later determined the gun was just a replica. a saddened in the search for a missing fairfax county teenager. friends of bryan glenn tell us his body was found in a wooded area yesterday. police have not yet officially identified the body. the medical examiner will positively identify the body and determine the cause of death. a couple is hue mail yitd to find themselves at the center of a drug raid. they bought a bush, what they thought ways bush at a yard
